Rain date is Sunday, 9/4. Helmet required. Please have your bike in good riding condition. We stop along the way to & from Manitowoc to see various sites--stop as you wish. BYO lunch & beverage--some of us bring a lunch, while others buy food at Fatso's Sub or elsewhere & then we bring it down to the beach area to eat afterwards. There are concession foods available at the Event Tent on the beach. Bring a chair or blanket for afterwards to use sitting down on the beach if you plan to stay after the ride. We have sometimes gone swimming after the ride, so you may want to bring a swim suit too. Here is basic info about the event:

Sept. 3rd: Kite flying events from 11.00am to 4.00pm (Shuttle Bus: Noon to 5.00pm).
   ¦  Night Fly: Events starting at dusk (Shuttle Bus: 6.00pm to Midnight).
          - Sky Lanterns Release
          - Fireworks Show (At dusk)
          - Live entertainment by Boogie and the Yoyoz from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm
Meet us at the northern most end of Neshotah Beach parking lot in Two Rivers at 9 am & join us for a casual ride along the lakeshore (Manitowoc & back), site-seeing, lunch & the kite festival at the beach. BYO lunch & lawn chair & swim if you wish!
